J-1 Summer Work/Travel program
An international exchange program for students from Europe, Eastern Europe, Asia to experience the american way of living. This program is being controled by the U.S. Department of State and sponsored by different institutions and organisations in US. The students are allowed to come from early May till late September. If you need a specific date of their arrival which is in that range, they can come on that date. The students are authorized to work for 4 month and they are covered with medical insurance. Students come full of energy and willing to provide the best work for you and would gladly recieve any overtime oportunities.
ADDRIAN would love to offer a cooperation in providing seasonal staff for American businesses. It's totaly FREE service for USA employers. USA employers pay no fees. You just need to submit your application mentioned your preferences and requirements, we bring seasonal employees to you.
We have motivated participants to fill a variety of positions, including:
- Housekeeping, Kitchen Help, Ride Operators
- Retail Staff, Dishwashing, Counter Staff
- Wait Staff, Maintenance, Food Servers and etc.
Due to the Department of State regulations, Students Can't Do some jobs:
- Au pair/nanny/babysitting/domestic labor;
- Camp counselor/ teacher/coach;
- Medical/veterinary/pharmaceutical services or any job that requires direct patient contact or dispensing of medication;
- Adult Entertainment Industry Jobs;
- Crew member on ships or aeroplanes, or as pilots;
- Sales jobs involving purchasing sales merchandise to resell (e.g. door-to-door sales).
The Summer Work&Travel program is a Congressionally authorized program. Under the authority of the Mutual Educational and Cultural Exchange Act of 1961, as amended, the Department of State designates private sector organizations to conduct exchange visitor programs in one or more of 13 different exchange visitor program categories. The majority of these sponsors have partners or agents located worldwide. The Summer Work/Travel program is one category. The Summer Work/Travel program is designed to achieve the educational objectives of international exchange by involving bona fide foreign college/university students directly in the daily life of the people of the United States through temporary work opportunities. Participating students are to receive the same salary and benefits as those received by U.S. citizens in the same or similar positions, and sponsors are required to inform participants about the Federal Minimum Wage requirement.
Work&Travel is an international student exchange program specially designed to allow students from all over the world to visit USA under J1 working Visa. You do not get involved in sponsoring our students. There is our partner sponsor organisation, (Philadelphia International Institute), which takes care of helping them to arrange their working documents. From our side, we do all pre-departure preparation, including, visa appointment. We do take care of our participants starting from their very first call or visite to our office till they step on American land. All you need to do is to choose a right candidate and give him a Job Offer. Job Offer is an offer of employment by your company.
We cooperate with Philadelphia International Institute (PII), designated Work&Travel USA sponsor organisation. As a partner of Philadelphia International Institute in Ukraine and Moldova, we do recruit Eastern European students to participate in Work&Travel program through temporary seasonal employment in the USA.
